The Elumichaa malai (Hills) is just located at the border between Thiruvannamalai & Dharmapuri district in Tamilnadu, India. It is under the control of Forest department. There are no. of tree species on the hills but not very dense. A small water stream originates from the hills called KORAIYARU originates on the hills & runs up to Then pennai River.
Elumichaa Hills is located in Dharmapuri District, whereas the foot village Melpachaar ( melpasar) is in Thiruvannamalai district- Tamilnadu State, India. By road - from Thiruvannamalai Annamalai hills- the village is about 50Kms. But Hill to Hill direct radius distance may be 37 Kms.
Seed balls was prepared in Melpasar village for Pungan & Poovarasau trees & sown over - elumichaa hills on one corner on 23 April 2017.
