This thought has given a unique challenge especially in the rocky terrains of many Hills.
In Chenji Taluk ( British spelt it as GINGEE) of Current Villupuram ( Vizhupuram ) district of Tamilnadu ( Tamizhnadu) - there are number of hills. Actually these looks like some one has brought rocks & boulders from some other place & piled it one above the other like a Hill.
How to grow trees on these boulders ?
May be seed balls may be the only option. One tree which can thrive is the arasa maram ( Peepul tree), but this tree grows only when the seeds are eaten & dropped by the birds.
There is a hill in Tamizhnadu called Thirukazhukundram hills - where till a decade ago - right at 12 Noon a Eagle used to visit the temple to eat food. Can we try to invite many birds to hills of Chenji & feed them with seeds ?
This dream may be wild but definitely possible.
